A gold dress tassel, c. 1646
Top mould, thread covered, and over covered with gold cords in woven patterns. The large mould, painted gold, and over worked in knotted stitch in gold cord.
The skint is a short twisted gold thread.
Both moulds tied together, hanging from a flat red braid.
