From the Collection of Admiral Grindall, an Able Seaman aboard Captain Cook’s Resolution during his second circumnavigation; thence by direct descent through his family.

A bead bracelet (restrung) of 32 amber-like (?), tortoiseshell (?) beads. The beads are either roughly spherical or disc-shaped. Collected by Admiral Grindall whilst he was an Able Seaman aboard Captain Cook’s Resolution during his second circumnavigation. Collected during the final stage of the homeward voyage while the ships stopped for Christmas at Tierra del Fuego in 1774 (?).
