A Khorasan copper-inlaid bronze dish
Of circular form with flat base, straight sides and everted flat rim, engraved and decorated in copper inlay to the well with a central roundel with enclosing quadrupeds, possibly hares or lions, amidst foliate interlace, the rim with inscriptions, the exterior of the sides with cartouches filled with inscriptions, punctuated by roundels with birds, the underside of the base with inscriptions and central roundel.

Inscriptions:
[Around the rim, in Kufic] 

bi'l-yumn wa al-barakah wa/ wa ladawlah wa al-sur/ur wa al-sa'adah wa/ wa al-salamah wa al-kir/amah wa al-shifa'ah/ wa I-tammah al-sahib (sic) [li-sahibihi]

"With good fortune and blessing and wealth and joy and happiness and well-being and generosity and [Prophet's] intercession and plenitude, the owner (sic) [to its owner]"

[Around the body, in Kufic]

bi'l-yumn wa al-barakah/ wa al-dawlah wa al/ wa al-surur wa a/ wa al-sa'adah wa/ wa al-salamah wa al-kiramah

"With good fortune and blessing and wealth and joy and happiness and well-being and generosity"

[To the base] 

bi'l-yumn wa al-bara/ kah wa al-daw/ lah wa a-surur/ wa al-surur wa al-sa'adah/ wa al-salamah wa al-kiramah
