Signed BARNEY SEALE and dated 1937
Barney Seale was a student of both Frith and Henry Massey. He exhibited from 1936 at the Royal Scottish Academy and from 1937 to 1941 at the Royal Academy. He is famed for his striking portrait heads including the violinist and composer Paganini.
